The Corolla Light Town Center is a 17,000 square foot retail building that Premiere Contracting constructed in only six months. It was ready in time for the summer season and our Outer Banks visitors.  The center is located in the tiny town of Corolla in North Carolina along the Outer Banks. Premiere Contracting was originally contracted to build just the shell of the building. The owners were quite happy with our craftsmanship so they decided to retain us to design and build most of the tenant spaces.

Island Revolutions, Corolla Pizza, and Mustang Sally’s were some of the interior spaces that we constructed, all having different footprints.  As part of the building construction, we also supervised all of the site improvements for the entire Corolla Light Town Center area. The site improvements consisted of new pavement throughout the whole center. The improvements of pavement produced the creation of several new parking areas. Premiere Contracting also supervised the utility infrastructure, and stormwater infrastructure. Landscaping was also part of the improvements made to the property. New grass and several decorative trees were planted to add to the eye appeal of the Corolla Light Town Center.

The aerial photograph demonstrates the scale of the overall project.  Being experts in commercial construction, we at PCI are quite proud of the result.
