The Outer Banks shoreline’s community values inclusivity, respect, and supporting all its members. That is why we are proud to sponsor Dare2Care OBX Shred Fest year after year.
What are Dare2Care and OBX Shred Fest?
Dare2Care is an Outer Banks 5013c non-profit that raises awareness for veterans and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Each year Dare2Care produces OBX Shred Fest presented by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau as an opportunity to embrace music, skateboarding, and the community.
The family-friendly event features live performances from Outer Banks music groups and professional bands plus, live demonstrations by skateboarders, BMX riders, roller derby skaters, and more.
Living up to the event’s name, you can watch folks shred it on the guitar and on the ramps while enjoying food and drinks from local vendors.
Plus, you get the other fixings of an Outer Banks festival with other happenings like art and a silent auction.
